It’s Event Season!

November is here, so is it okay to start talking about Thanksgiving and Christmas? Admittedly, we may rush the season sometimes, but it really is such a magical time of year.

As such, we have continued our tradition of putting all the trimmings on our Holiday Shop (the Cape’s largest!) by Columbus Day, so there are plenty of chances for your and your family to come and enjoy it. The holiday trains are running, our themed trees have been decorated by our Holiday Shop buyer, Marie (aka Ms. Christmas), and the shelves are lined with the thousands – yes, thousands – of unique ornaments we hand select each year.

So to kick off a great series of events at Snow’s this November and December, we hope you’ll join us for our open house this Friday… and then come back for the rest of our special events this season.

 fairy gardens
Capture the magic of fairy gardening!
Every Saturday until Christmas, our own plant expert Cheryl Bolton will be available to chat with you and explain the concept of miniature fairy garden design. Feel free to watch as Cheryl creates mythical displays of fairies, pixies and folklore using small planters and terrariums. Please join us for this casual forum and learn more about the magic of fairy gardening!

Get great color advice for your home.
Color expert Sue Pike is here in our Color and Design Center every Saturday afternoon through Thanksgiving week. Sue has been working in the field of design and color for more than 30 years, and will help take the confusion out of choosing paint colors! Susan abides by the philosophy that a beautiful color scheme – even a simple one – will make your home seem thoughtful and well-planned. So just stop by our paint department to talk to Sue – no appointment needed.

Get your knives holiday-ready!
Come to Snow’s on November 11th and get FREE SHARPENING on any two kitchen knives (no scissors or serrated knives, please). And, our beloved housewares associate Dean is coming out of retirement for the day to come back and sharpen knives for you!
  • Option to wait for sharpening or leave them and pick up later
  • 10% coupon for additional knives you would like professionally sharpened

So mark your calendars and stay in touch, there is always more to come – like our and 25 Days of Giving, custom wreath and Christmas arrangements from Cheryl Bolton, and visits from Santa and Frosty!
