3 gorgeous paint colors that will put a spring in your step
Nothing gives your home a lift like a fresh coat of paint. And after the winter we’ve had, most of us are feeling in need of a little brightening.
Although Benjamin Moore selects just one Color of the Year, it comes backed by a palette of 22 additional colors that wow in their own right. Here are 3 of our favorites that will help you channel the softer side of spring.
Pink has never been more on trend. And although we’re seeing this quintessentially girlish color is all over the runway, it’s a perfectly pleasing hue for your home, too. If you’re thinking pink, Pleasant Pink hits the mark in just the right classic-meets-chic kind of way.
Pleasant Pink (2049-60) works with lots of different palettes, adding subtle brightness without being too saturated.
With a name like Smoked Oyster – how could we not love it? This sophisticated paint color is a French-inspired shade of grey that adds depth to a space without necessarily adding darkness. Probably qualifying as a dark “greige,” it’s incredible how well this color goes with just about everything.
Smoked Oyster (2109-40) is simply gorgeous when paired with lighter accent colors.
A more subtle take on a classic spring pastel lavender, Dreamy Cloud adds a warm coziness to a space without taking over the whole palette. More of a neutral, it brightens up spaces with lots of dark browns and grays, but is also great for spaces with green plants or good window views, as it also complements green and hazel tones.
Dreamy Cloud 2117-70 helps set the right tone for a relaxed and airy space.
